Citrix: The network connection to your application was interrupted
Hello,
We're runnincg 3 Citrix Metaframe on a Windows 2003 with SP1. We have set up a terminal servicve licensing server and configured the citrrix servers to acquire licenses from the licensing server.
Using mstsc, we're able to log on to the 3 servers from all client stations. With the ICA client, we're currently only able to run applications on two of the citrix servers but not the third. The error message is as follows:
"The network connection to your application was interrupted"
Googling the error, I have found out that this error has to do with lisencing issues/ registry entrie but i still couldn't find a fix to my problem. The fixes are relevent when there isn't enough permissions on the registry key or when using Device CALs. This is not the case here.
Plese note that there are not related events in the event viewers of both the clients and the server.
Any help and/or ideas are appreciated.
many thanks.

I have checked ther permission on the registry and they are just fine. Domain users are local administrators on both the clients and the server. This cannot be a registry issue (at least on the client side) since we're using UserCALs and in this case there is not license000 key in the registry, in addition to the fact that the problem is not specific to a certain machine.
If i set TS to user DeviceCALs, temporary licenses are issued and a license000 key is created on the client side.
I forgot to mention earlier that , during the testing phase and before we've setup the licensing server, we were able to connect to the metafrmae in question. Then we faced this problem, related it to licensing issues, and then set up the licensing server but that didn't fix the problem.
I have checked for typo mistakes, there isn't any.
thank you for your time
Take a look at this page ... this might help.

Thanks but i have already went through this and every other page with similar problems.
Anyway now am thinking its not a licensing probelm. I have founf out that the problem only happens with pass throught Authentication. If i change the authentication method to prompt, the user enters his domain user name and password and everything runs fine.

Everything I am seeing is license related. If you are SURE the permissions are set corretly on the registry, try deleting the regisry key for the licensing ...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR
I know you said the permissions were set ... did you actually check them or are you just going off of permissions granted on the server to the IDs that are trying to connect? If it is the latter, then I would go through the process of checking the permissions on the registry settings themselves ... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR
One last note ... possibly a typo? Did you check you license server information on this server? If the name of the license server (and port, if there is one) entered correctly?
