Diskperf

Hi,

I know that if you set Diskperf -y it start it after restart but does it then run the process or lose it?. And if so how can I SET it permanently?. And what does diskperf really do just performance monitoring or optimizing?.

Rgds,

Johan

diskperf -y makes it permanent after restart.
it does not improve anything, it is just a kind of monitoring agent to allow apps like the perfmon to get performance data.
