When I boot up an HP d530 I get no power at all... just a red blinking light where the power on light is and it blinks 4 times repeatedly... any ideas?

Reseat the memory and check all cables.  I have several d530s; sometimes reseating the memory does the trick.  Others require a replacement motherboard.  Is it still under warranty?

I think it's still under warranty.. reseating memory doesn't work...

Hmm, time to call the OEM.  If it's still under warranty they'll replace the MB, PS, and/or CPU or all.  Usually things are happy again after I replaced the MB.

Does your manual provide a table listing what the blinking codes are?
