Urgent! Microsoft shutdown in middle of presentation ."MS Project has generated errors and will be closed by windows".

Hi Expert, I am having an issue with MS project 2000 when my laptop get connected to projector for presentation and MS project shut down with an error message saying " MS project has generated errors and will be closed by windows" . After that, I was unable to open MS project . I am using MS Office XP and MS Project 2000. Is there any service pack that we need to be apply ? Also I suspect it might be an issue with resolution of projector that should be match with Laptop resolution ? Please help ! As it is really embarassing when an error message comes up in a middle of presentation . Any suggestion would be really really appreciated it . Thanks !

Thanks for a quick response ! I will try to uninstall Adobe and for updates for MS project 2000 I try to install this update but it shows an error message" the upgrade batch can not be installed by the windows instsaller service because the program to be upgrade may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a differrent version of the program" Check this update and found that it is not supporting for windows XP... Do we have another updates MS project 2000 for windows XP?  I have installed office XP service pack 3 . Thanks again .
