Photoshop: Can't Nudge Layer Selection

Please Reply to Original Post Here: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Web/Graphics/Photoshop/Q_21867664.html

I'm using Photoshop 8.0 on a Windows XP machine.  The file has several layers, two of which are rasterized text.  I have been able to select one or the other and move the layer image by nudging (moving) it using the CTRL+Arrow Keys.  But now, all of a sudden, I am unable to nudge the selection.

What are the possible causes for this?

I've tried making a copy or duplicate of the layer, I've tried closing and re-opening the file.
As far as I can tell none of the layers are locked.

Hi WizeOwl,

Have you tried using the Move tool? If it works, most likely, part of your keyboard isn't working properly.

Turns out I should have posted this as a zero point question.  I posted the link about double posting for my own reference for next time.  At this point, I believe it would be up to the EE administrator to close it and refund points.  Thank you for the reminder.
