Exchange Server 2003 will not deliver mail

Hi,

I have a SBS 2003 Server running Exchange 2003. We installed CRM 3.0 on this machine yesterday. In order for the CRM 3.0 to work we needed to add ASP.Net (another story altogether). In doing this the IIS SMTP connector was removed. We then were not able to send any email or receive any email. We added the SMTP connector back in again and now exchange will not deliver any email or receive email.

When i attempt to send an email it goes into my outbox of outlook and then moves into my sent items as if it has been sent correctly. It however does not get sent. When i check Message Tracking on my exchange System Manager i see the message in there but it only says :

SMTP Store Driver: Message Submitted from Store

It does not have any further events in the Message Tracker. It used to have a lot more events indicating each process as the message is processed.

I get the following error in my EVENT Viewer :

Exchange MTA is disabled, the store driver cannot deliver the message

Can anyone please help me !

is the issue with internal and external mail flow ?

check whether the system mailbox is present in the mailbox store (check via ESM)

in your earlier post you mentioned about an error

"I get the following error in my EVENT Viewer :

Exchange MTA is disabled, the store driver cannot deliver the message "

Could you paste the entire error here (with source and event code)

secondly how is your mail flow configured?
