let's explore the possiblity of malware
-------------------------
Download and Install.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/HijackThis_d3155.html

Copy and paste your log to:
http://www.hijackthis.de/index.php?langselect=english
Click ANALYZE

Look for NASTIES and post your Analyze log link here
-------------------
Download Ewido, http://www.ewido.net/en/download/, install, open program, check for updates, restart computer, press F8 before windows logo appears, select safe mode, open Ewido, run full system scan. let Ewido delete all it finds, if anything is called serious by Ewido, disable Norton's Goback, and run Ewido again.

One nasty found-->

Entries found in this registry zone are potentially nasty. This application ([9394EDE7-C8B5-483E-8773-474BF36AF6E4] - Result: 9394EDE7-C8B5-483E-8773-474BF36AF6E4) has been checked. Hit rate: 100,00%

 Must be fixed

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

uninstall the Yahoo Messenger.. also you still have a NASTY in there (same one)

O2 - BHO: ST - {9394EDE7-C8B5-483E-8773-474BF36AF6E4} - C:\Program Files\MSN Apps\ST\01.03.0000.1005\en-xu\stmain.dll

If you did attempt to fix it.. then run the EWIDO as prescribed above

The yahoo Messenger and the yahoo toolbar in the internet explorer  causes it? When I use firefox without yahoo toolbar, it is okay without hanging.

let's say if you remove it, it's one less thing we have to worry about...  you can always download the latest and reinstall.

By removing it, this will help in the troubleshooting.
