Uninstallation of my sql server

Iam unable to uninstall mysql server 2000, iam getting the following error
"unable to locate the installation log file 'c:program files\microsoft sql server\MSSQL\uninst.isu'. Uninstallation will not continue"

how far have you gotten in your uninstallation before that error?

Have you tried multiple times?

You are probably in a default instance, but if you are on a cluster you are uninstalling a virtual server. If you have a named instance, then follow those directions.

I have had to manually uninstall before. Follow those directions and you should be fine.
