Modifying the Week View in Outlook 2003

So here's the situation.  I have two nearly identical stand alone machines.  Both have Outlook 2003 with all updates and neither are Exchange clients.  On machine 1 the Week Calendar View begins with Monday and has Saturday and Sunday compressed into one block at the bottom.  Typical default configuration for the weekly view.

Machine 2 has the configuration that I would like to emulate on machine 1.  It's weekly view starts with Sunday and has Friday and Saturday compressed at the bottom.  I have unchecked Compress Weekend Days in the Other Settings menu and I have made Sunday the first day of the week in the Calendar options area, as well as checking all the days to display.  These only affect Work Week and Monthly views.  As a matter of fact, Microsoft states in different sources (knowledge base, online help, etc.) that the Week View can't be modified because of the way it compresses the weekend days, and yet I have a machine where it has been modified.  I just don't know how it was done.

Any suggestions?

Greetings, sshafer.

Have you compared all the calendar and view related settings on the two computers?

Cheers!

Hello,

Yes I have compared everything I could think of, but there has to be something different.  I just can't seem to find what it is.  I was hoping someone could duplicate it on their machine and give me the steps they used.
I'ver tried every combination of settings I can think of and cannot duplicate what you're seeing on machine #2.  So, let's assume Microsoft is right and the view cannot be altered.  That leaves us with the possibility that the change is being caused by a setting outside of Outlook.  Maybe something in Regional Settings?
Hi, sshafer.

Any progress?

No progress and I have pretty much given up.  Microsoft says it can't be done in four different sources that I found.  I have tried everything I could think of, to no avail.  It sure hurts my credibility as a high priced consultant though when I can't duplicate something that's been done on another computer and all I have to show are printed copies of Microsoft's claims that it can't be done.  Thanks for your help BlueDevil.
Sorry, I wish I could have helped out.
No objection.
