You should be able to send the data using AG+CGDATA command, after attaching and activating PDP context.

First of all you have to configure your modem and connect to internet. Then you can send data to your server.  You need not give AT commands directly from your application.
It is same as creating a normal dialup connection through a modem.

You can create a dialup script as follows and can name it as gprs.ini
; GPRS Dialup Script

proc main

;transmit "AT+CGATT=1^M"

;waitfor "OK<cr><lf>"

;transmit "at\q2^M"

transmit"at&k3^M"

waitfor"<cr><lf>OK<cr><lf>" until 3

transmit"AT+CGCONT=1,\"IPV4\",,,0,0^M"

waitfor"<cr><lf>OK<cr><lf>" until 3

transmit"AT+CGQMIN=1,0,0,3,0,0,^M"

waitfor"<cr><lf>OK<cr><lf>" until 3

transmit"AT+CGQREQ=1,0,0,3,0,0^M"

waitfor"<cr><lf>OK<cr><lf>" until 3

transmit"AT+CGDCONT=1,\"IP\",\"portalnmms\",,0,0^M"

waitfor"<cr><lf>OK<cr><lf>" until 3

transmit"ATD*99***1#,1#^M"

endproc

In the place of portalnmms, you can put your APN given by the service provider. portalnmms is for Orange in India.

Create a normal dialup connection, and go to properties and in security tab, enable runscript check box and give the path of the dialup script. Then your work is done.
Now you can use the modem to connect to internet. Give username and pwd if the service provider gives any, else leave both as blank.

Hope this will help you.
