I'm working from three+ different locations at the moment, so I have switched my emails to imap which is working well.  Now I would like to use an ldap server to store my address book.

I have installed berkeley db and ldap on my server, now I just need to know how to configure it.  It's such a huge app and I only want to do do one simple thing - use 3 copies of mozilla thuderbird email in 3 locations and have the same address book.  Can anyone tell me how I should set up my ldap sever to do this, and secure it so only I have access to it (doesn't have to be _very_ secure).

The server is linux and I have root access.  The ldap and berkeley db are more recent versions.

Thanks!

Hi,

You should be able to find everything you need here, which is too much to post into this thread:

If you have some troubles or questions along the way, feel free to post back.
