LDAP email directory server configuration (address book)
I'm working from three+ different locations at the moment, so I have switched my emails to imap which is working well. Now I would like to use an ldap server to store my address book.
I have installed berkeley db and ldap on my server, now I just need to know how to configure it. It's such a huge app and I only want to do do one simple thing - use 3 copies of mozilla thuderbird email in 3 locations and have the same address book. Can anyone tell me how I should set up my ldap sever to do this, and secure it so only I have access to it (doesn't have to be _very_ secure).
The server is linux and I have root access. The ldap and berkeley db are more recent versions.
Thanks!
