RPC timeout setting in Registry

I recently added the DWORD key under NTDS\Parameters.  And set the RPC Replication Timeout (mins) to 45.
Does it matter if I do it hexadecimal.  Or does it have to be decimal?

    Hi schanti,

    you put in as decimal it should auto configure to HEX for you - most keys do

    Thanks for your help.
    Problem is I did put it in as hexadecimal.  now it says  000000045 (69)

    Is this now incorrect.  Cause i have to reboot server if i change it.
