Enable Administrator Account

I have inherited a company network.
The I.T. administrator (who left on bad terms) before leaving leaving decided to disable every account but one.
This one account that does have access does not have the necessary permissions to enable AD Accounts.

The company owner wants the whole network scrapped, all machines wipped and completely rebuilt, fine but i need access to the server to back up data.

Is there a way of enabling the Administrator account or a simpler way of recovering the data on the HD.

Please also bare in mind i can only log on remotely, not onto the actual server.

The server is Windows 2003 SBS

ah thanks for the reply i saw that on another post,  but i already found a solution.

You can still logon as the administrator in safe mode even though the account has been disabled, once logged in you can edit local polices and enable the administrator account (AD doesnt work in safe mode)

Luckily for me he didnt change the password!
Then restart, brilliant!!!

thanks for the post though.
