Hi All,

I'm working on an html page that has two flash movies embedded. Both flash movies display as the page loads, it's only when the page has loaded completely that one of the just vanishes. I've watched the page load so many times and it vanishes at the exact point that the page is done.

This happening only in IE not in firefox. Anyone know why this might be happening, its drving me nuts.

    Without the html of the page or a link to it, it's kind of like asking why a glass in a bar full of people is suddenly empty.

    Hi CC,

    I managed to find the root of the problem, it was the following javascritpt :

    //When the page loads:

    window.onload = function()
    if (document.getElementsByTagName) {
    var objs = document.getElementsByTagName("object"); //Get all the tags of type object in the page.
    for (i=0; i<objs.length; i++)
    objs[i].outerHTML = objs[i].outerHTML; //Get the HTML content of each object tag and replace it with itself.

    No idea why it's causing that behaviour so if anyone can suggest reasons why / comment please do ..
