Can the global address list appear as a contacts folder in SBS / Exchange

Please bear with me as I brute force learn sbs 2003 in a lab before rolling it out to our small business that is moving from an XP workgroup.

In Exchange on SBS 2003, is there a contacts folder that will list all the users on the domain?  In Outlook, When you click new email, then to, you can see all the user names in the global address list.... and you can click on a user to get their properties. but does all this info exist in a contacts tpe of view that shared folders / contacts  exists in?

and the gal is only avaiable in the adress book / click on the little bookin outlook or when clicking on the to button in a new email?
Correct.

It also exposed via LDAP and OWA.

Remember - Exchange is designed to operate on all sorts of size organisations. This can be 5 users up to 50,000 users. Therefore if you were try to download the GAL to a local machine in a 50,000 user site, it would take some time.
