Currently we have an email alias created as First Initial and last name. For example John Smith would be  JSmith@.  Currently this is added when the user account is created. We would like to add an alias to all current and new email address like John.Smith@  Is there anyway to create a policy that will create these aliases dynamically?

    Accepted Solution

Change recipient policy in Exchange system manager, add new adress format and while saving ask it to reapply to all.

    Use this as a guide;en-us;249299&sd=tech

    Assisted Solution

you could do some work with LDIFDE

    LDIFDE import

    dn: CN=test,CN=Users,DC=ADSERVER,DC=COM
    changetype: modify
    add: proxyAddresses
    proxyAddresses: SMTP:test123@AD.COM
    proxyAddresses: SMTP:test456@AD.COM
    proxyAddresses: SMTP:test789@AD.COM
