First Chance Exception _com_issue_errorex

Why do I recieve a first chance exception when I hit _com_issue_errorex(params...)

Is this the expected behavior?  Why would you want this?

    Just ignore First Chance exceptions, if they do not turn into Second Chance Exceptios, everything is just fine. It just means that an exception was handled successfully and no error condition resulted from that.

    If you don't like exception and you prefer standard HRESULT instead, you can use
    "raw_interfaces_only" in #import - there will be no wrapper throwing exceptions
