USB Flash/Running Apps Off Of

I want to be able to run apps from a USB Flash drive. The Apps I would like to run would be spyware, mailware removers, defraggers like diskeeper, reg cleers and stuff like that. I spend a lot of time cleaning up systems from my clients and now i have to install all of these apps, run them, then uninstall them. It would really be nice if I could run these from a USB Flash drive. Any ideas?

    NOT a good idea.

Just keep the installation programs on the flash drive.  When you need them...just copy them over to the system that you need to repair and run the apps off the hardrive.

the flash drive was generally made for storage and not frequent I/O access

    cool thanks!

What you could do is use an external USB hardrive...the trade off is speed/access vs. size/portability
