Map a network drive for a mac?

How do I map a network drive for a mac?  If it matters, I need to map a drive from OSX / Panther 10.3 to something like \\server4\e$ where server4 is running Windows Server 2003

    Accepted Solution

    From the Finder on the Mac, select "Go"->"Connect to Server..." menu item.
    Specify "smb://server4/" in the server address.
    Authenticate with your Windows username and password.

    does it need to be in quotations, it doesn't work for me.
