Map a network drive for a mac?

How do I map a network drive for a mac?  If it matters, I need to map a drive from OSX / Panther 10.3 to something like \\server4\e$ where server4 is running Windows Server 2003

From the Finder on the Mac, select "Go"->"Connect to Server..." menu item.
Specify "smb://server4/" in the server address.
Authenticate with your Windows username and password.
