My animated flash menu displays a box when you roll over it and you must click inside for the animation to work

The menu on my website is a flash menu.  The menu items used to be animated when you rolled over them.  However, now when you roll over them a rectangular box appears around them, and you must click inside the box before the animation will work. Here is a sample page:

What has happened and how can I fix it?
