I am learning flash and I was needing to know people get the objects to put in there flash. I know you can draw a car but some flash looks so real. They also make the car move and the background. Here is a link to what I want to do:

Hi

this flash has been done using lots more than only flash
for example:
1) definately a 3d software (swift3D or someother)
2) photoshop + photoshop plugins

Such kind of animation required expertise in layout design and storyboarding also.

you need to go long way to achieve this.. but nothing is impossible,
Practice make ones perfect.
keep going on...

good luck.

To create animation like above, I can suggest you to use 3D Studio Max, Maya kind of a software for modelling/ animating/ lightning/ particales ..etc . Becuase it will allows to create reality. After all the animation part finished , you can render those animations as Macromedia Flash format(swf).

Hi everbody,

godvalinchi : If you want some realistic objects, like cars, the only solution is to export videos in swf.
Use after affect (from Adobe), export your little clip in flash, and control their movments in flash.

http://www.sorbose.com/auto_bmw.html : they use this way.

Adobe after effect uses just only for final works, just to edit raster vedio. But it is not neccessary. You can generate swf files as I  have suggested or as Aneesh suggested using swift3D. 3D Studio Max, Maya..etc are will most suite for the animation as mentioned above. Because there are totally defined tools for 3D modelling, animation, lightning, particles, motion , ..etc.

Swift3D (Flash 3d party tool.)
Maya (Most of the recent movies created - Titanic, Mummy, King kong, Finding Nemo, ..etc)
3D Studio Max (Jurassic Park ..etc created)
Poser (some character animations are embeded)
Avid system(is a hudge commercial server product)

There are lot more. You must select one from them as your requirement.
But for just to create above animation, I can suggest to use 3D Studio Max or Maya.

Thanks so much guys. I was needing to know one more thing. I see things in macromdedia 8, such as a man walking down a street. How do I get the little man object? Is there somewhere where I can get objects to import into flash?

You are Welcome!
You can have 3D man walking animation, using Poser. It have lot of character animations, including animals. You change the attributes like man/women , fat/thin, weight/hight of the person and it will automatically change the way walking acording to the parameter you have entered.

Yes. When you are rendering, just select macromedia flash(swf) format for the codec. Then it will create swf file. Then if you want , you can again import it to flash and do what ever.

No, you can't do this just using Flash only.

Although, most of the 3d tool support swf format for export... (as Dushan commented)

Videos is the only way to have easy and real objects. 3D is hard and slow way to have some good render.

You have to mix flash objects and videos (with for example Premiere, After effect, Final Cut, that allows to export in swf)

Example :
http://www.vente-privee.com/vp3/vplogin.aspx (they change their first page every weeks)

3D is so hard for amateur.

Yes, you can import any video format in Flash and use it in flash,
IMPORTANT: If a video format plays properly on your system by double clicking then it can used in Flash.

hi,

i think for background, you don't need video.
If you look for ideas let's search on template sites :
