Aliases not working

I am using WebGUI for a content manager on an Apache install (Linux). I cannot get any aliases to work. I have tried adding ScriptAlias and Alias lines to httpd.conf, and other .conf files in conf.d. There must be something in httpd.conf that is overriding my Alias lines. What can I add or change that would fix this?

Perhaps a silly question, but did you restart the server after putting those lines in the httpd.conf?

Many times.:) I found the answer to this particular problem. I am using WebGUI, which intercepts all http request and runs them through perl for a variety of scripts. I had to add passthruUrl in my config and a <Location> tag to get past this problem.
