URLLSTCK.EXE has failed to start

During startup I receive the following: URLLSTCK.EXE has failed to start because NISRES.DLL was not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem. My question is how do I fix this issue? Thanks, Don

Greetings, Windancertoo !

NISRES.DLL is part of Norton Internet Security.  So you need to reinstall NIS to get URLLSTCK>EXE working.

Best wishes!

URLLSTCK.EXE appears to be part of Norton Internet Security Suite. Doing what the error message suggests, and reinstalling Norton may fix a file that could have been corrupted or deleted.

Go into "Add/Remove programs" and click your Norton's software, then "Change/Repair" it will do an inplace re-installation of the software. Otherwise, you'll have to uninstall, then reinstall it.
