Hi. I used to get the raw (unformatted or unmasked) value from maskedtext boxes by using cliptext property in VB6.0. There is no cliptext property in VB2005 .net so How can I get the raw value from maskedtextbox? I saw that this explanation on msdn;

ClipText = Text

Note
The Visual Basic 6.0 ClipText property excludes literals; in Visual Basic 2005 literals are included unless SkipLiterals is set to true.

But seems not working.

Hi gokhanoz,

Set the TextMaskFormat property to ExcludePromptAndLiterals and query the Text Property.

Cheers!
