InteliMouse Explorer

Hello

I have a new computer with WindowsXP installed.

I am using an old version of  InteliMouse Explorer and it is working
but Windows XP refused the the mouse software I think it is 3.1.
Therefore I can not use its extra features such as "Hide pointer while
typing"..........etc

So I used the CD for a 4.1 version of the Explorer and Windows XP installed it but it is still the same. I can not use the extra features.

What shall I do

The  InteliMouse Explorer  has a USB plug

Hello there,

What you might want to do is uninstall both drivers, reboot computer reinstall latest drivers. You can also do a "Last Known Good Configuration"

Here's the latest version of Microsoft's software for your mouse for use with XP (Intellipoint v5.5):

I don't have the same mouse, so I don't know what features are supported, but if you download and install it, this will give you all of the features that Microsoft supports.
