Cannot upload files using FTP Isolate user mode
I have set up a Windows 2003 FTP server and Isolate User mode. The users can download files from their folders, but cannot upload any files.
What needs to be done for this to happen?

Did you give them modify access at the NTFS level for their folders?

yes
Since you are using isolate User mode, there shouldn't be any virtual directories, so is the "write" box checked in the FTP site properties?

yes
You'll need to explain your setup better then...too difficult to troubleshoot like this.
is it AD isolated mode? are the accounts local accounts or AD accounts? Are they able to create folders at all?
more details are needed to understand it...I personally don't like using Isolated User mode if the accounts are local, I will use Virtual Directories instead.

The server is in workgroup mode. No AD. I am only using Local accunts, no annonymouse access, no virtual Directories. All Local Directories. THe users cannot write at all.
I have deleted the FTP site, and recreated it with out Isolation. I have assigned write permissions to the FTProot folder...Still cannot upload files. I get acces denied.
