Adding Contacts under AD Users & Computers

I want to store all my contacts under AD U&C for ldap.  I want to organize these contact just like OU.  I have a lot of contacts to add, what is the best way to do it, and is there some kind of a program where I can have my secretatry do this. She will just specify under what OU and contact name, email......

You can create contacts in AD, sure.

Just create an OU in ADUC called "Contacts" or whatever structure you want, then right click, new contact.

Is that what you are asking?

My only other suggestion besides giving her delegated rights to add objects to the Contacts OU, is to use something like the Office 2003 Contacts Manager:

You'll need to get all the contacts in a comma separated textfile and then import using csvde.exe as described here:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=327620
Create a single contact, then export it with csvde.exe so you can see the fields required, then add all other contacts to the text file and import.
