I'm not sure if this is secuirty.  Just trying to delete the cache of searches left in a search engine.

This entire time, I thought that deleting history, deleting cookies and offline files did the trick, but I guess it doesn't.  A guy from work came in and asked me about it, so I showed him that method and it didn't work.  Is there a way to delete these search quieries?

    I think he must be thinking of Autocomplete.

    In Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Autocomplete

    and you can un-chec the items you don't want saved.
