Website built with Homestead's Site Builder Lite -- Low SE Rankings

I'm working with a Homestead website created with Site Builder Lite. It's got poor SE rankings. I notice for example, that the site doesn't include H1,H2 tags, puts the TITLE further down in the META tags, and doesn't include ALT tags for images.

Is all this a limitation of Homestead's Site Builder Lite, or is there some configuration option I'm missing? (My hunch is that this is all a limitation of Lite, but I'd like some confirmation.) If there's a way to modify the configuration to make it SE-ready, I'd love to know how.

I haven't personally worked with that sitebuilder but any site builder or editor will allow you to see the source code and modify it.

From the FAQ's section of the website

"Search engine optimization (SEO): Homestead has developed a number of tools to help you  improve the ranking of your website in natural (free) search engine listings. Although natural search results are never guaranteed and often take months to take affect, they can be a very cost-effect way to promote your site. After logging into Homestead.com, please select the ‘site promotion’ section from the left column for more information regarding SEO."

So there is something there to help you with your natural searches.
