Cisco Call Manager and Call Manager Express

We are small firm with about 20 employess and are looking to deploy a Cisco VoIP network. I am looking for feature set differences between Call Manager and Call Manager Express. Call Manager Express is significantly cheaper but I am not able to find anything on the Cisco site or elsewhere that details the difference between the two products to make an informed decision. Some of our important requirements are reports with detailed call logs and ability to deploy IP phones at home (for about 8 users)

Thank you.

cisco has a full comparison of different voip solutions at

one note on Call Manager Express, it's really meant for branch offices and small sites, not really the individual home user. It's based in the router IOS which makes it a little more costly to deploy to a few employees that work from home. It could still come out way under the full Call Manager but you should at least recogize that caveat.

the logging function is comparable and it ties back in to much the same functionality, just scaled down. you can also check the datasheet at the link below to determine if it has the features you need.
