I am using eclipse to step throught my code. method void testing(int i)  is inside 1.jar, 1.jar is inside my web applicaiton WEB-INF-lib,

the structure of 1.jar

1.jar
   folder1
      floder2
        testing.class which have method void testing(int i)

but when I tried to step into a method void testing(int i) got can not step into the source code, message is:

source not found, the source attachment does not contain the source for the file testing.class
you can change the source attachment by clicking change attached source below:

change attached source (select the location (folder, jar or zip)containing the source for "1.jar")
  worksapce
  extrernal file
  external folder

I tried all of above options to point to either the 1.jar or the folder containing 1.jar on my local pc, but I got see error over and over.

quesiton 1: what the message means--soure not found

quesiton 2: how to find it and step the code into it?

thanks

Its asking you to tell it where the source (.java) file is, not where the class file is.
