For all Office XP suites:
RAM requirements depend on the operating system used:
Windows Me, or Microsoft Windows NT®
32 MB of RAM plus an additional 8 MB of RAM for each Office program (such as Word) running simultaneously

Thanks for swift reply - ref'd above address - so it's more an issue of PC configuration ie RAM/HDD CPU speed than s/w compatabilty. So I guess my PIII 800mhz with 256MbRam and 100GB Hdd will suffice. Thanks for answer Dabas - you get the points. Cheers.
