In my opinion Checkpoint is targetted at the high end customers or Enterprise grade customers where as PIX main group of customers is SME &amp;&nbsp;Mid range enterprises or Price concious customers.<br />

I have already gone thru that article, it is good, but some of the points he has pointed out are too old and they have been resolved by Checkpoint and cisco.<br />
Like HA by checkpoint and integrating all services in a single box by cisco when they introduced ASA.

Comparison between Cisco PIX, ASA and Checkpoint NG
