Receiving an email from themselves with 5556 in the body?

I've had three independent instances of clients reporting a user has received an email from their own email address very early in the morning. They've opened the email only to find that the body of the email contains just one line of text and that line is " 5556 ". Any idea what that is?

There is something going on. This type of email was reported on email servers all over the world. Even on gmail. Most probably someone laying the foundations for serious spamming. Get your domain checked out for weaknesses at www.dnsreport.Com

    Hello  sim2k_support!

I had several customers complain about this too!  It is indeed a new spam effort.  Tell them to delete and ignore them.
