Do you have a particular backup software program in mind?
Norton Ghost will work in your case. I have done it numerous times and it's a very reliable piece of software.
I can't really walk you through the process, or any process for that matter since you'll need a copy of the software you desire to begin with.

We use veritas software, I know how to configure it. What I need to know is: is it a good idea to use the windows backup software on win 2k server? What did was create a folder on the nas and scheduled an incremental backup nightly the nas is backed up every night to tape using veritas. Is this a good method or can someone recommened something better? Should I install some type of backup software on the image server it self?
Thanks,

Why not just use Veritas to backup the image server? You should be able to access it by using the default network shares C$, etc. Now if you want to backup the system state as well, I'm not certain if Veritas can do this. What version are you using?
