PIX 501 change password

How do I change the passwords on a PIX 501?  The system seems to want an encrypted string.  I know the current passwords and I want to change them to be different than the previous IT person had been using.  I don't know squat about managing a PIX (yet), and I may hire someone, but I want to get the passwords changed ASAP.  The two passwords I have are the one used to log in to the router, and the one used after typing enable, I need to get both changed.
