domain users cannot connect to shares, workgroup users can
My domain users cannot connect to network drives. Workgroup users are able to connect. Drives appear as shares on server, everyone has full access share and NTFS permissions. Windows 2000 server.
There was a virus but I am certain it is completely gone, but can't get the shares working again. Have rebooted, unshared and reshared, undid permissions and redid permissions, still domain users cannot connect and workgroup users can. Not sure where to go from here.

If you create a brand new directory on the server and share it giving all permissions to the domain\domain users group does it wotk then rather than doind something with an existing named share/directory?

Actually I just got this resolved by opening a microsoft tech support case. Long involved process that entailed turning off and on offline files on each client machine, and then on some had to manually delete the offline synchronization directory and reboot. Had to recreate some shares on the server. May have done a few more things on the server - I can't recall - the MS technician did it all. So this is now closed
Hmm. OK
