Making Fields Wider In a Web Broswer

Posted on 2006-06-06

When I look at my fields in the client they look fine, but when you look at them from a broswer they are short and most of the information(text) is hidden.  Is there a way to increase the size of the text windows for the fields.

The older solution (R4.5) was to (mis-)use the help description:
Currently the last tab on the fields properties offers a better option, under HTML tag / other:
3rd option is "HTML Attributes" (field event list):
(please copy/pase "as is", with brackets or quotes as indicated)

    And since it's playtime now:
For multi-value text or richtext: "cols=60 rows=5" (as in the 3rd example).

Thanks for the quick input and even though I know you don't need the points - I am going to make this question worth 100.  I needed this fix quickly and you helped very much
