How can i give a domain user permission to manage IIS on a server

Hi,
I would like to give one of my domain users permission to manage IIS in our webser machine, which is a Windows 2003 server.
I don't want to give local administrator rights on the server machine only for this purpose.

I would appreciate any help on this issue,

thanks

You can't.

You must be a local administrator to administrate IIS in versions 6.0 and earlier.

The only way around this would be to write some sort of customer application that manages IIS that runs as a Local Administrator and allow your domain users access to the applciation.

Sorry.

No,You can't give permission to manage IIS to domain user directly.

But you can use Helm CP or any other hosting control panel to give permission to manage IIS like Enable parent path, install any application extension in IIS,create different application pool etc.
