Microsoft Outlook 03 problem with categories in contacts

On Friday, June 2, and Monday June 5, I entered over 10 pages of contacts into my boss's database. When I would add a new contact, I entered the category name first before adding any other information. When it closed down outlook on Monday, June 5, all categories where in the database with all the correct amounts in each. Tuesday, we opened the database and some of the categories were missing and the contacts were in incorrect categories or under the category of "None". Now I must go thru all the pages again and find which ones are incorrect and do the process all over again...

We are contact sharing.  The information was put in from my computer onto my bosses contact list.  I ahve full permission to the database.

Does anyone have a suggestion on why this has happened? Please help anyone, this is just the start of quirky problems with outlook which I hope to post soon.

Please help

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read and help with this issue.

As we are in a live production environment, it is very hard to replicate the error.  However, contact information is being added all the time, and there have been no incidences like this since then.  After reading my scenario, I would also believe that there was some human error behind this weird occurrence.  However I am 99.9% positive that the information was not entered in any other manner than an ordinary one.

I will continue to try to observe the behavior of this and update this post as needed.  Maybe if it happens again I can be more specific as to what is happening out of the ordinary during this action.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance
