what is the proper command syntax to change the ip address of the fastethernet 0 port on Cisco 1700 Series Router

    I am think it should go something like this:
    no ip address
    ip address

    am I close?

    interface fastethernet 0
    ip address

    Note: you would have to disable dhcp on this interface if it is configured before putting in that command.
