I would like to be able to show a tooltip onmouseover a link. The tooltip would of course be different depending on what link I'm hovering over.

    Hi peternordberg,

Set the title attribute of your link and it will do it automatically:

    <a href="" title="Click here to go to my site">Click Here</a>

    For example.

    Hi peternordberg,

I need the same thing a while back. Found OverLib, which you can use for free and takes minutes to set up...

    Have fun.

Yes, that's true that's the way you put a native "tooltip" of HTML.

I guess that you want a different type of tooltip, like: you have there the example and also the JavaScript that does the trick. ;)
