I need to add the right for users to edit the registry. I have a program that changes a key in the registry every time it opens. I don't want them to be able to install software.

Thanks ahead of time.

You can open the registry key you want your users to be able to change and right click this (in the left pane of regedit). Now just click the "Permissions" option and you can add the users or groups and also select what they are allowed to do. If you also select the "advanced" option you can set whether the subkeys should inherit these values.
