But the def you seek may be  def #4 of 4 found at the authoritative http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/S/SAP.html :
(1) Short for Session Announcement Protocol, an announcement protocol used to communicate the relevant session setup information to prospective participants during multicast sessions. SAPs typically use the Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP).
(2) Short for Service Advertising Protocol, a NetWare protocol used to identify the services and addresses of servers attached to the network. The responses are used to update a table in the router known as the Server Information Table.
(3) Short for Secondary Audio Program, an NTSC audio channel used for auxiliary transmission, such as foreign language broadcasting or teletext.
(4) Short for SAP America, Inc., Lester, PA, the U.S. branch of the German software company, SAP AG. The name SAP stands for Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing. SAP's R/3 integrated suite of applications and its ABAP/4 Development Workbench became popular starting around 1993.

http://www.business-software-guru.com/sap.aspx says
"SAP was founded in Germany over thirty years ago, and now has major operations in the United States. The name SAP actually stands for Systems, Applications, and Products, but these days the term "SAP" stands alone, and is better known than the full company name!

"SAP offers a complete line of solutions for small, midsize, and large businesses. It specializes in a number of software products"

Here's the SAP worldwide directory: http://www.sap.com/contactsap/directory/usa.epx

And from http://expertanswercenter.techtarget.com/eac/knowledgebaseAnswer/0,295199,sid63_gci982738,00.html :
Q: I have a question about the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, SAP (which as I understand, was developed by a German based company).  What does "SAP" stand for?
A by Stuart Hill : "SAP" stand for System Application Program.
SAP R/3 is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which integrates most business applications (Sales/Distribution, Material Management, Production Planning, Controlling, Financial Management, etc.) in one product. SAP R/3 consists of a presentation server on the client side, the middle tier Application server and its own repository which consists of the data model (DDIC) and programs written in a proprietary language called ABAP/4, and the Database server which runs on various platforms and databases."

My word: call up the company advertising the job and just ASK them to confirm if SAP refers to "Systems, Applications and Products" or not. : ) Since SAP actually stands for over 100 things. My preference is a "Soon As Possible" expert LOL.
to me SAP meant a stock symbol. Depending on the context of where you saw it and how it read..........SAP experts could mean persons who possess the skills needed for the company whose stock symbol is SAP. Ex: Hiring SAP experts now..........could be a company looking for SAP former employees or persons whose expertise is the same as SAP employees. I doubt this is the meaning of your SAP but that is the first thing I thought of when I saw SAP.

SAP is the name of a compnay that provides major software applications.  Here is the US Web Site:

When you find someone looking for SAP experts in something related to TI ,90% of the time is about people who knows about ABAP (the SAP R/3 programing languaje) or the SAP R/3 ERP software itself on the implementation and configurations of its modules.

That is.
