SQL connection security

Hello,

I have a question about the encryption level of the SQL connection used in asp pages,
I have a remote SQL server; my IIS server is not on the same server. What is the level of encryption when I use asp to communicate between the two?

Can I increase the level of security?

If you want increase the level of security for your website. You can install ssl (https) for your site and using encryption information data like password,account... . It's a best way.
