Hidden Folders
Ok so, one of my clients server got hosed my a worm. ROFL.SYS. I got it cleaned and back up. I have just one problem. Some of the folders are gone... kinda. For example any folder in the program files directory that begins with Microsoft can not be seen. And yes hide hidden and systems folders is unchecked; however if I go to a command prompt and cd to the directory it is there. you still can't see it with a dir, but you can go to it and it is fine. If you try and type in the location into the explorer bar it gives you this:
Cannont Find 'file:///C:/Program%20File s/Microsof t%20SQL%20 Server/'. Make sure the path or Internet address is correct.
And this is what is in the address bar:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\
Please help.

New development, any folder on ther server that begins with microsoft is hidden. Even if I create a new one.
What about creating a folder like this "micro" "mic" "m" <-- do these become hidden as well?
Sounds like a virus... http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/home_homeoffice/index_virus.html

Nope only folders named Microsoft. I ran an deep scan with Trend Micro's tool made to run in safe mode, to search everything, and it found nothing the system is clean. I think there must be a reghack or something like that. Any more ideas?
