Signature defaults to wrong color.

I have a strange problem that occured some time ago but will not go away. All of a sudden, my signature font color is yellow when I create a new email. When I go to signature, it shows that it is black color in the preview pane. I even deleted it and created a new one making sure the font is black (automatic). It will still show up (barely) as yellow. My editor is Word. Any suggestions with this?
Another problem, maybe associated with this, is that when I reply to an email that has a different font color, it makes my reply font the same color as the senders signature font color. This is so annoying! Can anyone help me with this, please?

Thanks everyone....

That was it. The stationary was set on Blank. I switched it to <none> and tried one of the others and it does fine. For some reason the blank one had these settings.
However, I did like the page that you set up for cleaning word. When I tried the ~* search, I couldn't delete them. Is this because Office programs has to be closed?

Thank you dopyiii
You're welcome for the help.  I'm glad you got things all fixed up :)

Yes, Office applications need to be closed to delete any ~* files.  They are all temp files and Word (or any Office app) _should_ delete them when the close.  But, it's not uncommon to find some.  Just close up your Office apps, search and delete.  As long as the apps are closed, there's never anything in those temp files of any value (if they're left behind).
