Export from GroupWise 6 to Outlook/Exchange

I have a new employee that wants to import his email from GroupWise 6.0.4 to our Exchange environment.

What do I need to do?

There used to be an Outlook snapin for Groupwise.  Try searching their knowledge base for Outlook snapin. You can download it from Novell.  It modifies the MAPI so that Outlook can open up Groupwise.  Might be able to set this up on a spare/test box and then add a personal folder to the profile.  Drag emails into personal folder, when done export to .pst.  Then import the .pst into a clean box with Outlook configured to Exchange only.

If you had a lot more Groupwise users I'd recommend the Gateway addon from Novell, but for just one user it's not worth the trouble.

There is a fairly cheap program called UniAccess that works great.  We used this a lot when we moved from GroupWise to Exchange.
