Rebuild Exchange OMA and ActiveSync
I am currently unable to synchronize my Motorola Q smartphone with our SBS2003 server. Before I had the Q, I was also unable to sync a Palm Treo 650. I thought that maybe it was a problem with the carrier (Palm = Cingular), but now I have switched carriers (Q = Verizon) and phones and still cannot sync over the air. Now I think that it is time to rebuild ActiveSync and OMA from scratch on the server. OWA works fine now, and I have already turned off SSL in the process of troubleshooting. Can someone please help me?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't think that OMA works. All of the errors I get when trying to hit the server with activesync are related to the server not being found, so I think that the problem may lie in IIS config (the default website was deleted long ago and I have only been successful in rebuilding OWA thus far.) I haven't been getting authentication errors thus far (although I would consider that to be a remarkable improvement.)

This solution is only available to members.
To access this solution, you must be a member of Experts Exchange.
The closest you can get is to to recreate the virtual directories, but that would include the OWA folders as well.
Does OMA work?
If you are having authentication issues, then I have a fix on my web site here: http://www.amset.info/exchange/mobile-omafba.asp
