How to create a role that only have the read-access to a system?

Hi:

Assumed that we've a BW/BI SAP system and a user request to access this system with only read-access privilege, which role/profile authorization I should use to assign to this user. Is there any built-in role or profile that already allows such read-access authorization and I can use directly to assign to this user?

Thanks a lot,

Hello,

there are many ways to create authorizations to BW objects. Read that manual about creating it:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a0/48f438f3422f2ce10000000a114084/content.htm

and some templates:

Hi Marcnus:

Thanks a lot for your help.

From the template documents, I look for the templpate role S_RS_RREPU (Reporting user) but I could not find it in the list of all the pre-defined roles our SAP BW/SEM SAP system. It only list other roles and the pre-defined roles only starts with SAP_*.

Do you know where I can search for this pre-defined role?

Thanks a lot,

Somits
